Ho Chi Minh City, also called Saigon, is the Vietnamese city where Bao Tran runs his courier network.
Geography
Low-lying; in November the sea comes up the Saigon river twice a month in the king tides and floods the low streets. Cần Giờ, fifty kilometres south through mangroves, is reached via the Bình Khánh ferry.
